Welcome back Mintlayers!
April has been a busy month for the development team. We’ve completed the TGE and tied up all of the loose ends with that event, and we’ve been working hard on the next launch site feature which will be announced soon.
Mintlayer Core Development
There has been a lot of progress on the Mintlayer core this month. We have completed a large amount of work on the command line interface wallet, and some research into libraries we can use to add a graphic user interface to that feature.
The mempool updates have been merged this month. We also worked on ban scores.
We have completed a lot of work on block production, including refactoring. We have also completed work on consensus, including work related to the longest chain rule for the initial version of the consensus protocol.
The team has worked some on transaction verification.
Our p2p is stabilizing. We have done some work to tidy up the code and review to ensure we do not have any vulnerabilities in our implementation, and worked on p2p authentication and randomize reconnect delay.
Mobile & Web
As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, we have been working diligently on a new launch site feature that will directly benefit current ML holders.
We are finishing a few tasks that are under review internally to be released publicly soon.
We are looking forward to announcing this feature in the upcoming weeks.
